12110 - Diesel Locomotive Type Gmeinder 15-18
Diesel Locomotive Type Gmeinder 15/18
The model locomotive with factory number 2408, built in 1938, today provides its service
at the brickworks Museum Sondernheim (near Germersheim) in Rhineland-Palatinate.
Axle arrangement length: approx. 35 mm.
Diesel-Lokomotive Gmeinder 15/18
The small locomotives are powered by a 3 volt micro precision motor with gear reduction
for prototypical slow speeds and strong traction.
By a built-in magnet, increases the pressure of the locomotive on the metal-backed
narrow gauge tracks and to ensure a safe power from the tracks and smooth slow ride.
The locomotives have a coupling pin to the realistic train formation, as well as a
magnetic clutch to operate with Loren and cars from the Bush tramway range on
the back of the driver's cab.
As in the original, smallest track radii can be cycled with the Feldbahn locomotive (up to 100 mm).
She can be used due to the compact construction and the low space requirement very well to the
diorama design and supplementation of existing model railroad layout.

Diesel-Lokomotive Gmeinder 15/18
Feldbahn locomotive is a type that has been made in this design principle from
the mid-1920s by the Baden Gmeinder company.
The locomotive was produced in large quantities until the fifties, and is partially still in
use due to its robustness.
«The model of the Feldbahn locomotive is according to their horsepower with»
Gmeinder 15/18 «known (15/18 HP short-term power continuous) and is driven by a
diesel engine with three speed gearbox and chain drive with a maximum speed of 12 km/h.
The track width is 600 mm.
